Conferences and Events
The RITE Group runs an annual conference on the issues surrounding sustainable textiles and clothing every year. Our first event took place in London in October 2007 and attracted over 400 delegates who heard presentations from industry leaders at Marks & Spencer, Levi Strauss, and Timberland as well as Joan Ruddock MP the UK Government Minister for Climate Change, Biodiversity and Waste.
Going forward, the RITE Group also intends to put on regional seminars and will help to support other events which promote the aims and objectives of the Group.
